Gliding Windows

Since 1971, Andersen® gliding windows have combined contemporary beauty with convenient low maintenance and excellent ventilation characteristics.

These windows were designed to have a slim sash and frame profile to provide the greatest possible field of view. Their efficiency, performance and appearance are unmistakably Andersen.

The Andersen 400 Series gliding window consists of two sash that glide horizontally on permanent, adjustable, self-lubricating Teflon® impregnatedDelrin® glides. Because both sash move, customers have more options for air circulation and easier cleaning. The exterior frame, sash, and track feature a long-lasting, low-maintenance Perma-Shield® system.

Exterior color options include white, sandtone and Terratone®. A natural wood interior allows for
finishing flexibility. Handle hardware is available in several optional finishes to match any decor.
