This carries a 10-year warranty, plus 20 years on glass, 10 on product, and 5 on blinds and controls. The prefabricated flashing systems are designed to yield water without relying on sealants that can weather over time. VELUX offers a variety of flashing systems to suit your home’s needs.

Low Profile Roof Flashing System

Low Profile Roof Flashing

The low profile roof flashing ensures a weather tight seal for skylights and roof windows installed on top of roofs with shakes and shingles. This type of flashing allows the close grouping of deck mounted skylights.

High Profile Roof Flashing

High Profile Roof Flashing

The high profile roof flashings allow a weather tight seal for skylights and roof windows installed on roofs with concrete or Spanish tile.

Metal Roof Flashing

Along with both the high and low profile roof flashing, there is an alternate way of flashing for metal roofs. An exclusive, EDM metal flashing makes installing skylights un-troublesome. Flashing pieces interlock directly with roofing materials for a weather resistant installation and streamlined exterior. A feature of the metal roof flashing is the sill apron that highlights pliable pleats that form to the roof.

Underlayment

The unique underlayment is an alternative to roofing felt that wraps the roof window or skylight to provided added care from extreme weather conditions. This key underlayment is important when roofs have a built up of ice or snow.

Glazing Options

Suitable for any home, VELUX skylights are available in various glazing options for the uniqueness of each home. Every VELUX skylight glazing’s are built with LoE3, Argon gas added to the dual pane glass.
