Velux offers three categories of skylighs such as: curb mounted, deck mounted and pan-flashed. The curb and deck mounted skylights are offered in the No Leak Skylight.

This carries a 10-year warranty, plus 20 years on glass, 10 on product, and 5 on blinds and controls. This fantastic feature includes three layers of water protection, advanced LoE3 glass for money savings on utility bills, pre-finished white frames and sashes, along with pre-mounted brackets for quick installation of sunscreen blinds, and lower roof profile with updated curve architectural design.

Glazing Options

Suitable for any home, VELUX skylights are available in various glazing options for the uniqueness of each home. Every VELUX skylight glazing’s are built with LoE3, Argon gas added to the dual pane glass. The options for glazing are as follows: Laminated, tempered, impact, white laminated, Miami-dade, and snowload glass.  The laminated glass has high energy efficiency that allows home owners to live more comfortably, while saving money on utility bills. Also it resists condensation twice as long as clear glass. The tempered glass provides three times more protection against heat gain. It also protects interior spaces by reflecting the sun’s fade causing rays. The impact glass is designed to meet the rigid test requirements for hurricane prone areas. The white laminated glass provides diffused day lighting, which makes it suitable for offices, library, schools, and warehouse applications. You will love that you can combine this feature with almost any of the other glazing’s. Lastly the snowload glass is designed for massive snow storms, in snow heavy areas. It has a triple layer of LoE coating for a higher average of savings on your utility bills. Like the white laminated glazing, you can combine this glazing with a different one of your choice!
